Hi, my name is Michelle. I am a wife, mom, animal lover and the

owner /operator of Under the Oaks Dog Walking and Pet Sitting. I graduated from Santa Clara University and worked in the corporate world prior to raising my 3 kids. My family adopted our first dog when I was 2 months old; I have no memory of ever living without the companionship of “man’s best friend”. I will admit they are my favorite pet.  I, along with my husband and kids, have lead several 4-H animal projects and have raised dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, chicken, ducks, quail, hamsters, guinea pigs, pheasants, parakeets and goats. I lead the Clayton/Concord 4-H Dog Project out of a passion to help youth learn how to train and prepare for obedience competitions with their dogs. Through the years my kids have competed with our family dogs in county and state competitions. Training dogs is considered a fun hobby in our house! Under the Oaks evolved out of years of assisting family, neighbors and friends with dog training and boarding their animals while they were on vacation. I never pursued this business - it found me and I love what I do!  My business is licensed, bonded and insured. I am Pet First Aid Certified and have accumulated years of experience through raising a variety of animals, training dogs and working with dog owners.
